Risk Assessment Artificial Water Features in Reserves

This report is intended as a follow up to our previous report; Artificial Water Features in Recreation Reserves dated 2 August 2023.

The original report looked to investigate industry guidelines and/or best-practice standards and methods used for managing safe public access to artificial water features in recreation reserves.

This report delves little deeper and looks to better understand risk associated with each individual artificial water feature in the TCC portfolio and look to any mitigating actions that may reduce any potential risk. Whilst of course recognising that it is not possible to entirely reduce risk, a sensible set of steps taken by teams can work towards a reduction in the risk that the public are exposed to.
