Xyst was approached by Mount Alexander Shire Council to develop an Asset Management Plan to formally document the management approach applied to parks services and assets.
This long-term planning approach was considered necessary given the large capital and operating expenditure expected.
The developed AMP covers a 10-year timeframe and its main focus was in determining the strategies required for maintaining, rehabilitating and renewing components over the next 10 years. The AMP also aimed to demonstrate that the service potential of the parks services and assets is being maintained in accordance with best industry practice.
