Xyst managed the successful transition of the management of Spenser Park Holiday Camp from Christchurch Holiday Parks Limited to the Christchurch City Council
Christchurch City Council
Roto Kohatu Reserve is getting more popular with water sports, user groups and the public. Xyst developed a reserve management plan to help Christchurch City Council manage and plan the development of the reserve.
City of Whittlesea
Xyst was engaged to conduct quality audits of opens spaces and asset condition inspections to provide live update of how the parks services contract operational maintenance teams are meeting Council’s agreed levels of service.
Dunedin City Council
This review of aquatic services looked at the total provision of aquatic services across the city. The outcome of this review included recommendations to support community and school aquatic facilities to be retained.
Port Pirie Regional Council (SA)
Development of a strategy that addressed management of the current tree stock and devised a plan for future renewal and maintenance.
Gisborne District Council
Xyst obtained a new 10 year resource consent for Gisborne District Council to enable the use of selected inner city riverside parks to be used for events.
Southland District Council
Xyst developed and defined levels of service for Southland District Council’s open spaces and community facilities to better enable them to define what it will deliver to its communities and ensure that the delivery continues to be sustainable.

The vegetation plan was needed as part of a review of the Manapouri Foreshore Reserve Management Plan to provide guidance around preservation of indigenous vegetation, view shaft protection and risk mitigation.
Nelson City Council
Nelson City Council has at various times during 2020 to 2022 requested that Xyst staff carry out contract performance auditing of open space maintenance operations in sports parks, cemeteries and street gardens.
